Piri Piri – Restaurant Review – Willemstad, Curaçao

Piri Piri Restaurant is a family-run Portuguese restaurant in Curaçao. We walked an hour out of central Willemstad to eat here, stopping at the Curaçao Liqueur Distillery on the way.

The atmosphere is quaint, in an open airy setting. All seating is outdoors but is shaded by a huge tree.

The only complaint I had, which is no fault of the restaurant was constantly being bitten by mosquitoes the entire time because we sat under the tree.

We felt so welcome from the friendly and hospitable service we received. The owner was so nice and spoke 3 languages (speaking multiple languages is common in Curaçao) and helped us call a taxi when we were finished.

For lunch, we shared the Mixed meat grill ($40ANG) and a bowl of white rice ($5ANG). The platter included; ribs, sausage, pork chop, chicken and steak. The meat was tender and delicious and you can add sauces to it if you wish!

Our Rating:
